    The Western Most Bookstore in the US and the ONLY bookstore on Kauai, the iconic Talk Story Bookstore is a must-visit in the artsy little town of Hanapepe. From used and new to out-of-print rare books, their collection is immense and bibliophiles could spend hours and hours in the nostalgic aisles of this gem.     Featuring the art of Kauai artist Carol Meckling, Haloa Gallery is located in the historic Kilohana Plantation building on the second floor right above Gaylord’s restaurant. The gallery features Carol and other Kauai artists’ paintings, prints, acrylic blocks and other gifts, including greeting cards, original block-printed tea towels and canvas bags, and our balms and tea!     The National Tropical Botanical Garden is an amazing nonprofit organization that has several garden locations in Hawai’i (Kauai and Maui) and Florida. They focus on plant conservation and their collection of native Hawaiian plants and breadfruit cultivars is the largest in the world.
